Assisi has Roman roots; evidenced by numerous archeological finds such as the carved stone that we used for our print inspiration. It's beauty & simplicity are timeless. There is a roman museum in the town that showcases many finds including unearthed market stalls, sculpted marble fragments,  carved imagery, writing and so much more- it is a cooling break from the hot days outside.
