the theraputic beauty of blue fish

I have been wearing pieces of bluefish clothing for as long as I can remember.  My mother first told me about them.  She wore them.  And my sister Jody wore them. Then they would send them to me and I would wear them!! Imagine my surprise when I discovered I could get them brand new!!!   I have always loved the feel of the material used in the clothing. I always wear natural cotton or linen.

Due to an illness, and massive amounts of steroids I have to be on, I became quite large, and incredibly uncomfortable in my own skin.  I would call the Taos shop and explain I needed “fat clothes”!  And Jennifer or one of the other ladies would laugh with me, and make me feel so special, I would almost forget what I saw in the mirror.  And feel wonderful when I walked down the street. 

And when I finally got to visit the Taos shop in person, it was WONDERFUL!  All of the colors and different prints hanging about, with pants and skirts just dancing in the wind!   It was magical.  And the clean smell of cotton, and linen. I would sit on a sofa and just take it all in. And feel right at home.

So you see, Blue fish clothing has been almost therapeutic for me! I feel normal, even pretty in them!

Now, if only my American Express would think so too!
