following passion from state to state
Written By: Janis
I have been wearing Blue Fish since 1989. I used to drive to the Frenchtown store when I got a little extra cash but once I got there I saw so many different things I fell inlove with I always had to break out the credit card. Thank goodness I had a well paying job. Going to Frenchtown was an exhilarating drive, though Trenton (eck) the beautiful ride up rt. 29....it was like an outing. Even stopping on the way home to check out the great towns along the way back. I could never stop on my way to Blue Fish, I had to get there. It was like a magnet drawing me there. Then I found the store on the internet and Blue Fish from ebay. Ebay was very unreliable, cheaper but I always seemed let down when I received the clothing. Then I moved to New Mexico. Well, I knew there was a Blue Fish store in Taos but I live at the complete other end of the state. I continue to by my Blue Fish online but when I'm not sure of something the lovely ladies in Taos are there to help me. If they don't have it in their store they will call Frenchtown and darned if they almost always figure out a way to get me into what I want. It's like they are Blue Fish elves. Just when I buy gobs of the lastest series of clothes, they create a new line. But have no fear....everything has a way of mixing and matching. I create my own styles. Blue Fish is a very unique look. I get remarks from many women as to where I get my look. I'm a walking advertisement. Hey, this is cowboy country so ya know I can't help but be noticed. To this day I have every bit of Blue Fish clothing I have ever bought. Some of my Ts are pretty worn, holey and threadbare.....but thats just when they are really comfy. Throw them out...HECK NO..when the fall off maybe but my creativity will figure out a way for those pieces to live on in some form of art. THANK YOU Blue Fish!!! Your are a great part of jan's world. Now let me go check out what's new or on sale. PEACE!!!
